Initial Idea

This was one of my initial ideas to use for my front cover, however, I decided not to use it as the masthead doesn't really stand out or catch the reader's eye. Also by having the cover lines (which would be in the black boxes seen above) all together, it could confuse the reader as to which one is the main cover line of the magazine. And as the main cover line is a convention of front pages, I need to make sure this one stands out from the rest of the cover lines.
